*nodnod* I could totally believe that, too. It really does seem like canon hints that it /is/ possible to somehow alter or override the writing.

On the discussion of theories… I think that with a blank fighter, once a name is etched into his/her skin, the fighter belongs to the sacrafice whose name was etched into the fighter’s skin, but I also think it’s possible to change the name by getting rid of the name somehow and putting another name somewhere else on the fighter’s skin. For one of my fanficcs, I’m having Ritsuka use a knife and scratch out all the cuts that Seimei made and cut ‘Loveless’ into Soubi’s skin on his chest where the heart is.

Seimei really is possessive…

It just seems like the sort of thing Seimei would do, doesn’t it? Crazy obsessive person that he is. And I’m all about Soubi being Loveless one way or another. There are certainly suggestions that fate doesn’t have as much to do with it as everyone we’ve met so far seems to think. Otherwise, what are ‘blank’ fighters?
