  • Crossovers
    • Standalone: One-off crossovers, not part of any arc.
    • Tennis Sanctuary: Presenting the Crack Crossover of Doom. The Rikkai tennis team sell their souls to Mad Hatter, angels descend on Seigaku and Fudoumine, Crowly has possessed Jirou while the Anti-Christ meets Setsuna, Tsuzuki and Hisoka visit St. Rudolph, Ukitake and Kyouraku investigate Rokkaku, and Anthy is making friends with Kurai.

Spoilers: Continuity flaps freely in the breeze, on this one, and there are only mild spoilers for the Kantou arc of PoT and the ending of CCS. There are particular YnM spoilers for the Devil’s Trill and St. Michael’s arcs (manga). The spoilers for AS are more extensive, but also more implicit. Saiyuki spoilers for character pasts shown in Gaiden.

      • Rikkai: The stories focusing on Rikkai and Angel Sanctuary’s Belial. Yukimura/Sanada/Yanagi plus Belial/Rikkai/Rikkai.
      • Seigaku: The stories focusing on Seigaku; also CLAMP’s Eriol and Angel Sanctuary’s Rafael.
      • Fudoumine: The stories focusing on Fudoumine and Angel Sanctuary’s Michael.
      • Hyoutei: The stories focusing on Hyoutei with guest appearances by Aziraphale and Crowley, and eventually Angel Sanctuary’s Uriel.
      • St. Rudolph: The stories focusing on St. Rudolph, and Yami no Matsuei’s Tsuzuki and Hisoka.
      • Rokkaku: The stories focusing on Rokkaku, plus Ukitake and Kyouraku.
      • Ohtori Academy: The stories focusing on Utena’s Ohtori Academy and Angel Sanctuary’s Kurai.
  • 07-Ghost
    • Standalone: Stand-alone fic for 07 Ghost, though most of them share some world building. Lots of Frau/Teito and Ayamine/Hyuuga, with some Frau/Castor kink on the side.

Translations to German can be found at FUcard’s Animexx account.

  • Akatsuki no Yona
    • Standalone: Standalone stories for Akatsuki no Yona, not part of any arc–mostly character fic.
  • Angel Sanctuary
    • Standalone: Bits and snippets of Angel Sanctuary fic that doesn’t go in any arc.
    • River: After the end, the worlds are still there, and both angels and demons have to figure out what to do with themselves. Politics, cosmology, and manga spoilers throughout.

Note: stories and sections from Mad Hatter’s point of view use the indeterminate pronouns se/hir, in accordance with my reading of this character. If that drags fingernails over the chalkboard of your soul, go read someone else.

  • Bleach
    • Standalone: Bleach fic that isn’t part of any arc, mostly pornlets for Porn Battle challenges.
    • Lull: After the Soul Society arc, the Shinigami have a lot of readjustment and reorganization to do; Renji and Rukia do their share of it and a little more. This arc is based solely on 1-181 of the manga. Canon events after that are either not shown or didn’t happen, for these stories; this arc is, obviously, Divergent Future. Rukia/Renji.
    • Ichigo’s Harem of Semes: How Ichigo collected a harem of people he’s fought with. I mean, what else is a fic-writer to do with all that crazy chemistry?
    • Picking Up Whatever’s Mine: Stories of how and why the Visored captains returned to Soul Society, including some Kensei/Hisagi.
  • Card Captor Sakura
    • Bamboo, Pine and Peach: Yukito loved Touya and broke Clow’s foreseeing. Now Yue, Touya, and Yukito have to find a way to live with each other, and hold on to love in face of Yue’s old fears. All these stories are based on the manga continuity, and therefore will contain manga spoilers. Touya/Yukito/Yue.
  • Clamp Academy Detectives
    • Standalone: A bit of Nokoru and Suoh, because, really, nothing could be cuter.
  • Daiya no Ace
    • Standalone: Daiya fic that isn’t part of any arc. Mostly Miyuki, so if you like evil bastards with kind of heartwrenching back-stories you’re in the right place.
  • Detective Conan
    • Annealed: The rapprochement of Akai and Furuya, and how they come together. (Because you know we’ll be lucky to get it in about ten years, from canon.)
  • D.N.Angel
    • Standalone: Stories of how Daisuke finds his way toward some rapprochement with both Satoshi and Dark.
  • Eyeshield 21
    • Standalone: Many short pieces on Hiruma, Hiruma with Mamori, Hiruma with his rivals. Sena’s staunch adorableness does come through here and there, though.
  • Final Fantasy VII
    • Standalone: Standalone stories about bits and pieces of FF7 backstory, especially Zack and Sephiroth.
    • If I Should Wake Before I Die: Aerith, Tifa, Cloud, and Zack all support and comfort each other, and death is nothing to get in the way of them doing so. An arc of Aerith/Tifa/Cloud/Zack, in all combinations.
    • King of Spades: Rufus is the kind of leader the Turks like—ruthless and lethal. Reno, in particular, likes leaders who are just as dangerous as he is. A handful of loosely connected stories, centering around the Turks and Rufus.
    • Fly to Others That We Know Not of: Stories spinning off the Lullabye for a New World Order AU. Unabashed Rufus/Tseng loyalty porn.
  • Fullmetal Alchemist
    • Standalone: Standalone FMA stories featuring angst, fluff, history, friendship, and a whole lot of Roy.
    • After: Suppose the series ended with Al restored, but not Ed, and Bradley still in power. Roy takes Ed back under his wing and teaches him to be even more formidable. Drama, romance, and domesticity ensue. Divergent Future, spoilers through ep 18. Roy/Ed and Winry/Al.
    • Canon Amelioration: Keeping characters alive without completely breaking the canon. I would not actually wish to change the events the show; it would sacrifice too much of the emotional impact. For the purposes of fic, however, and of me getting to play with the full cast of characters at given times and places, there are people I want to assume different endings for. These are the stories where I rationalize those different endings.
    • Circumstances: What if it were suddenly in their contract, as fictional characters, for Roy and Ed to be lovers? And what would happen next? Contains silly meta and egregious deus ex machina. Exceedingly Divergent Future.
    • Seishin: Mustang and Hawkeye both have to deal with finding new careers, as the country has to adjust to a new government. Their differences in viewpoint and background begin to surface as they negotiate toward a new professional and personal relationship. This could also be considered a loose sort of Weimar Republic fanfic. Picks up at the end of the first anime and carries forward with some Lisa/Roy.
    • Success: If the story ended in complete success for everyone… what then? Roy takes over the country and Ed helps, despite doubts and contention on both sides. Divergent Future.
    • Summer: On a very hot summer day Ed wanders over to Roy’s in search of cool; sex ensues. Timeline? What Timeline? Written in cooperation with Moumusu, alternating pictures and stories.
    • Tamashii: Ed is gone and Al’s memories along with him. Al has to make his journey alone, this time. Along the way, though, he does find someone else going in the same direction. Picks up after the first anime ends, and ignoring the movie; this arc overlaps somewhat with Seishin. Anime spoilers throughout, eventual Scar/Al.
  • Fushigi Yuugi
    • Standalone: One or two pieces around the edges of Fushigi Yuugi, especially about Yui.
    • Sensual World: After Miaka’s story ends, what happens to Yui? It should be the book of Seiryuu, now, and what does that mean for Seiryuu’s Miko, called once already out of her proper time and scarred by it? Heading toward Seiryuu/Yui of a sort.
  • GetBackers
    • Standalone: GetBackers porn and angst, those being what these characters seem to specialize in–mostly stories centered around Ban.
    • Ivory Bridges: How Kazuki’s people regathered under him, how Kazuki and Yohan come to know each other properly, and how Saizou came to terms with the reformed clan. Also features gleeful extrapolation from canon symbolism. Kazuki/Everyone, Juubei/Toshiki, Saizou/Juubei, Sakura/Saizou, and Yohan/Saizou’s sister.

This arc is dedicated to Jane, goddess of translations, savior of my sanity, purveyor of plot-bunny steroids.

  • Gilgamesh
  • Guardian
    • Changes: A fusion of the novel backstory with the drama canon.
  • Gundam Wing
    • Standalone: GW fic that is not part of any arc; mostly crossovers.
    • All Fired Up: In this universe, Milliardo Peacecraft kept his sister with him when he fled. Growing up knowing her past and her brother both, she makes different decisions and sends the world down a different path. Alternate History.

“All Fired Up”, by Pat Benatar, is my personal theme song for Relena.

  • Hikaru no Go
    • Standalone: Mostly Akira/Hikaru stories, and mostly fluff.
  • Katekyou Hitman Reborn
    • Standalone: Stories that fill in odd corners, answer open questions, or sketch out the characters. Also a good deal of porn.
    • Autumn’s Roaming Breeze: Hibari reaches some equilibrium with the idea of belonging to a Family, assisted on his way by Dino, who feels that he owes both Tsuna and Hibari this help. Eventual Dino/Hibari.
    • Breaking of the Day: Tsuna is dragged off to Italy and starts to find his place. His place includes being Xanxus’ boss, and both of them have some adjusting to do to that idea. In the end, Tsuna has to take some extreme measures to make it happen. This arc features a sort of mental Tsuna/Xanxus.
    • Choice: 101 ways to fix Xanxus. This is a collection of Alternate History arcs, telling different ways Xanxus might have been a little more sane.
      • Never Happened: What if the Tenth had seen a little more clearly, and not let sentiment lead him so astray with Xanxus? Many things go the same way, but Xanxus is usefully crazy instead of utterly broken.
      • The Favored Son: The arc spinning off from Never Happened, in which Federico lives and Xanxus and Tsuna both arrange themselves around him as the Tenth. Contains a bit of Federico/Xanxus and another bit of Xanxus/Squalo.
      • All Your Wishes: What if Xanxus had been sane enough to become the Tenth after all? What would it have taken, and what would he do with the Family placed in his hands? And how would Tsuna enter into this? Xanxus/Squalo.
      • Sugar and Spice: If Xanxus had been a woman, her problems would have been similar but at a very different angle. What would a good mafia family make of a daughter who wants to lead the assassins, and what would Xanxus be when her family offers love but no understanding? Lots of Xanxus/Squalo.
    • Firebrand: A dark AU in which Mukuro finds Xanxus first and makes use of him instead of Tsuna. Xanxus, for his own reasons, lets him. Very D/s Mukuro/Xanxus.
    • Generations: Generations is a joint project between Branch and Lys ap Adin to expand the KHR universe. In several sub-arcs it covers the women of KHR, the Ninth’s generation, and the Eleventh’s generation of the Vongola.
      • A House Divided: Stories that follow Timoteo as he chooses his Guardians, acquires an outside advisor, and adopts a son that he doesn’t know how to deal with at all. Eventually, that last part brings all the rest crashing down
      • The Bond Between the Land and Sea: Stories of Kyouko and Haru growing into their own positions in Vongola, and the woman who helps them.
      • They Also Serve: Kyouko and Haru have their own places and work, in the Vongola, and the value of that work is recognized… by the few who know of it.
      • Carnivale: Tsuna and Kyouko’s children take over the Vongola after them, and their daughter Mari becomes the Eleventh. Like every generation before, they have to deal with the legacy and the problems the last generation has left.

There is art of the children by Gray Queen here.

Arc may or may not be completed.

      • Sidestories: Things tucked in here and there among the main arcs of Generations.
    • Saving Nickels, Saving Dimes: Gokudera is extremely prickly, and Yamamoto eventually decides this is more a cause for concern than amusement. He has his work cut out for him, to do anything about it, though. Slow building Yamamoto/Gokudera.
  • Kuroko no Basuke
    • KnB Standalone: KnB fic that doesn’t fit into an arc, especially missing scenes and speculation.
    • Walk Through the Valley of Lilies: An arc of “what happens after the Winter Cup” stories, dealing with what fears and hopes haven’t been resolved yet, and what the characters need to become as they go on. Also lots of hooking up, encompassing Aomine/Kuroko/Kagami, Aomine/Kise, Kasamatsu/Kise, and Riko/Hyuuga/Kiyoshi.

Title note: in hanakotoba, lily of the valley indicates a promise of happiness to come.

    • Have and Hold: An arc of dominant!Kuroko and his relationship with Kagami and Aomine. Lots of porn.
    • Singing in the Dead of Night: An AU arc of what might have happened if Kuroko had taken Aomine and Momoi to Seirin with him.
  • Kuroshitsuji
    • Standalone: Stories of Ciel and Sebastian, and their very sharp-edged games of desire and loyalty.
  • Labyrinth
    • Standalone: A bit of fic for Jareth and D, on the theory that no one is better suited to find humans to ‘feed’ Jareth.
  • Loveless
    • Standalone: A dash of Loveless porn, once the characters in question have grown into it.
    • Embrace: Ritsuka finds his feet and certainty, and a place for Soubi. Soubi returns the favor with all the care he can take of Ritsuka. This arc takes off from the ninth volume of the manga and traces out a possible conclusion. Increasingly sane Ritsuka/Soubi.
  • Meine Liebe
    • Standalone: Some Lui-gets-laid stories, mostly Lui/Naoji.
    • Eating Strawberry Leaves: Nicholas’ arc, as he moves into the government and finds a new use for his loyalty to Ludwig.
  • Monochrome Factor
    • Standalone: A handful of stories around the edges of Monochrome Factor, especially about Ryuuko and Shirogane.
    • Fine Print: Shirogane is focused very exclusively on Akira, and Akira can’t quite help responding to that, no matter how arrogant and high-handed Shirogane tends to be. On the other side of the coin, he seems to be the only one who can manage Shirogane. Lots of Shirogane/Akira porn, Divergent Future from Issue 28 onward.

      Arc Completed

    • Under the Arch of You: An Alternate Future arc in which Kou becomes Shirogane’s Child while he waits for Ryuuko to recover. Eventual Shirogane/Kou.
  • Naruto
    • Avalanche: An AU of canon, in which Kakashi dealt with Sasuke differently after the first fight with Itachi and Sasuke never left Konoha. Changes spiral off from that point, carrying on the momentum of the first half instead of diverting it. Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke remain a team, the generations are not carbon copies, the women are not sidelined, Naruto does not turn into a solitary god-hero, and Itachi stays a villain. Contains Sakura/Naruto/Sasuke goodness.

Also featuring a dash of Kakashi/Iruka and a side arc about Hinata and the Hyuuga clan that somehow shoehorned its way in while I was innocently contemplating ninja sociology.

  • Nirvana in Fire
    • In Every Time and Season: An arc loosely inspired by the alternative ending, and pondering how this could be made to happen without undoing the momentum of the whole series. Happy Endings for All!
  • Peacemaker Kurogane
    • Standalone: A few stories for Hijikata and Okita, exploring the teasing and angst and depth of their relationship.
  • Petshop of Horrors
    • Standalone: A handful of stories about D and the shop, and how he deals with the human world.
  • Prince of Tennis
    • Standalone: PoT fic that is not part of any arc–wide variety of characters and pairings.
    • Mirror Writing: Time goes on, captains change, pairs are broken and reformed, friends and rivals grow closer. Some possible futures for Seigaku, Hyoutei, St. Rudolph, and Fudoumine. These arcs are based on the anime continuity, but with a very Divergent Future, anime spoilers throughout, and lots of romance.
      • River Poetry: Tezuka and Atobe meet off the courts and finally find a way to communicate that isn’t tennis. Expect philosophy, music and fishing, while they balance Atobe’s flamboyance with Tezuka’s subtlety. Also lots of Tezuka/Atobe porn, by and by.
      • Hazelnut: Tachibana decides Fuji needs a friend outside of tennis, and that dangerous reputations are no reason for either of them to hold back. Tachibana/Fuji.
      • Octave Span: Mizuki is smashingly manipulative, and Yuuta is happy to use that. Fuji is on edge over their new relationship, and Mizuki dares him to do something about it. Mizuki/Yuuta and a dash of rather dark Fuji/Mizuki on the side.
      • Songs for Singing: Shishido and Ohtori hang on to each other through the year they can’t play together as a pair, and finally get a clue about how much they’re attracted to each other.
      • Only Natural: Momoshiro and Echizen tease and support each other through three more years of tennis. The Momoshiro/Ryouma arc, in which Momo is a huge squish.
    • Challenge: Niou arrives at Rikkai and is delighted to find he may have met his match in Yagyuu, and they both may have met their captain in Yukimura. The team that forms around Yukimura breaks and recovers, and forges on to Nationals. Divergent Future based only on the maga through 237; manga spoilers throughout. Yagyuu/Niou and Yukimura/Sanada/Yanagi, also Sanada/Kirihara.
    • Third Watch: In the wake of his brilliant senpai, Kirihara has to struggle to find his own team and tennis as Rikkai’s new captain. Follows directly after Challenge; manga continuity and divergent future with a bit of Tachibana/Kirihara at the end.

The extras are stories that would have been part of the next arc, if the next arc had ever really come together. I do not expect to fill in the spaces around them, and take no responsibility for the frustration of readers who might want more after reading those.

    • Swallow the Moon: Some tales of Rikkai, and their recovery in the aftermath of Regionals. This set of stories is less an arc than a collection of things that happen in the same ‘verse. Manga spoilers throughout.
    • Yaru: Whether Tezuka is in the same school or not, he’s always the end of Echizen’s search for some peace and stability in the midst of his drive to improve his tennis. Hybrid continuity, Divergent Future, manga and anime spoilers in places. Eventual Tezuka/Ryouma.
    • Hearts and Spades: Mizuki and Yuuta both find a way to go on after the defeat at Prefecturals, Yuuta as a new captain and Mizuki as a different player. Manga continuity, mild manga spoilers throughout. Mizuki/Yuuta/Mizuki.
    • Translated: An AU, rendering the tenipuri storyline as a samurai story, because the manga actually makes all the sense in the world if you just give them swords.

In the years of Sengoku, the time of Warring Domains, a young samurai is sent by his father to take direct service with the lord of the Uesugi domain. This is the start of his journey.

    • Every Night and All: Rewrites the Nationals matches in which tension and uncertainty still abound, motivations are examined, justice is served, second-years consider the future, and everyone gets extremely heated up.
  • RG Veda
    • Standalone: A bit of Yasha and Ashura, post-canon.
  • Saiunkoku Monogatari
    • Standalone: Stories of hidden moments and might-have-beens, especially for Seiran and Ryuuki.
    • The Age of Silver: What if Seien had chosen to return to his place at court, instead of taking up a life as Seiran? What sort of Emperor would he become, and what would it mean for Ryuuki and Shuurei? Alternate History.
  • Shaman King
    • Standalone: A bit of post-canon for Yoh and Ren.
  • Shounen Onmyouji
    • Standalone: Stories for Masahiro and Guren, and the care they take of each other.
  • Star Driver
    • Triskelion: Fic writing forward the end of Star Driver, especially how Wako, Takuto, and Sugata might settle into their triad.
  • Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle
    • Standalone: A handful of stories for Kurogane and Fai, especially about Fai’s fangs and how to deal with them.
  • The Untamed
    • Home Is: An arc of drama-based stories, filling in some gaps in the story. Also some definitely-together porn.
    • Lodestone: An alternate timeline where Meng Yao is taken in by Lan, rather than Jin, and a great many alliances are reversed.
  • Vorkosiverse
    • Standalone: Some Ivan and By, which is, of course, not Ivan’s fault at all.
  • XxXholic
    • Standalone: Stories around the edges of Watanuki and Doumeki’s lives together.
  • Yami no Matsuei
    • Standalone: A handful of stories surrounding Tsuzuki, his partner, his shikigami, and their broken edges.
    • Sky Diving: The Golden Emperor needs to be defeated. Hisoka needs to reach some agreement with Kurikara. Touda needs to get some of his own back. Tsuzuki needs to come to terms with his heritage and power. And Watari needs to find a way out of Enma’s trap. This is the arc in which I take the cliff-hanger Matsushita left us with and try to make it go somewhere sensible. Tsuzuki/Hisoka and Tatsumi/Watari.

      Arc On Indefinite Hold.

  • Yuugi-ou
    • Standalone: A few stories for the peripheral characters like Bakura and Anzu, who don’t deal with the world quite as straight-forwardly as Yuugi and Atem.
